  My sister and I rented a car from Ace April 2017 in Orlando Florida. I am 75 and do not want to drive, but my younger sister was going to be the driver. I however wanted to pay for the car. We made that clear to the agent. He then asked if there would be additional drivers and we said no , only my sister and he took her information and I gave him my credit card information. We assumed that was that. During the middle of the trip I looked more closely at the rental agreement and realized we were charged almost $80 for an additional driver and I assumed that was a mistake. When we returned the car and talked with the agent he said that whoever present the credit card is considered the primary driver and anyone else listed is an additional driver. I do not have a problem with that policy , but the problem is that the agent NEVER told us that fact. He should have at least pointed out that driver and credit card holder made 2 drivers. We asked if we could transfer the rental cost to my sister's credit card to make her the primary driver and they said no , something about the computer would not allow. they could have voided the transaction and charged my sister's card, but they were unwilling assist us. Very poor customer service! and we are stuck with paying $80 we did not use. In addition the initial agent told us that most roads in Fla were toll roads and recommended a Sun Pass at $50 to get through all those toll roads without hassle of having cash. Well we went through maybe 2 or 3 toll roads and the rest were free. They are scamming their customers for extra cash and unwilling to assist when there is a problem or admit a mistake. We will not rent from them again. Lesson learned
