  One of the best neighborhood parks around. Every evening, local dog owners bring their dogs to socialize around the large grassy area adjacent to the baseball fields.
  
  The two large playground areas are typically filled with children-at-play in the early evening. Basketball and tennis courts provide ample recreation for teenagers and adults. On the other side of the park is a dirt bmx bike area complete with hills and curves for practicing jumps and tricks.
  
  For those who simply want a nice stroll, Calabazas Park offers several walking paths through the park. The park is directly across the street from a fire station and the City of San Jose Public Library, Calabazas Branch.
